Joint Statement of the Foreign Ministers of Hungary, Russian Federation the United Kingdom and the United States which was delivered by Ambassador György Molnár at a plenary session of the United Nations First Committee in New York on 17 October 2016. States Parties to the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention will hold their Eighth Review Conference in Geneva on 17-25 November 2016, chaired by Ambassador György Molnár.
Hungary elected to UN Human Rights Council
The UN General Assembly decided about the new members of the Human Rights Council (HRC) on October 28. Since the announcement of the tender the four years of continuous work resulted that Hungary will became a member of the Eastern European Group (EEG) of the HRC members for the three-year period between 2017-2019. Croatia and Hungary has been selected in the group ahead of Russia.....
