At the 2018 WTO wine tasting competition, Hungary has won the third prize in the dessert wine category with the  Grof Degenfeld 6 Puttonyos Aszu – 2008
Furmint, Harslevelu, Tarcal (Producer: Istvan Turoczi, Sandor Zsurki) and the 5th position in the red wine category with the Gere Kopar – 2012 Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sauvignon,Villany (Producer: Attila Gere). Alan Wolff WTO Deputy Director General has sent a letter to congratulate Hungary for those good wines. (The detailed results of the wine competition are here.)
